Iran advanced to the second round of the 16th edition of FIVB Volleyball Men's Junior World Championship by beating Belgium.

The Iranian side defeated Belgium 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 25-17) in Pool D at the Caio Martins Gymnasium
Serbia and Iran qualified for the second round and are scheduled to play Brazil and the U.S. respectively.
“I knew that Belgium was a strong opponent. It was a long and difficult match because we were tired after Serbia’s match. I thought Belgium could be among the two first teams, but we had more luck and opportunities in this match,” Iran coach Jovica Cvetkovic said in the post-match news conference
